Luvemba is the setting sun: the passage toward the world of the ancestors, the moment a life becomes transmission. The dikenga does not look away from this hour; it honours it. On this heavyweight black hoodie, the Luvemba emblem shows the sun sinking at the left of the Kalunga line, half below the water, rendered in warm white and silver grey as an embroidery-style print medallion, its afterglow stretching gently across the field. A hoodie worn like a keepsake: warm, quiet, carried for the ones who crossed before you, for the names you bear, for everything they handed down that still moves in you. The cycle teaches one certainty above all: nothing ends.
Between two sizes, take the larger one: the cut is meant to fall loose. Measurements are on the chest, flat, in centimetres then inches.

In Kongo cosmology, life is one sun moving through four moments: conceived at midnight (Musoni), born at dawn (Kala), at full strength at noon (Tukula), passed to the world of the ancestors at dusk (Luvemba). This cycle is the dikenga: one sun, four moments, and the Kalunga line, the water threshold between the worlds, which the cycle crosses without ever stopping.
After the Kongo cosmology documented by K.K. Bunseki Fu-Kiau, African Cosmology of the Bântu-Kôngo.
